Also interested if you run another batch. I tried to buy Brian's a few month's ago, but he had promised it to Doc, who wound up selling it to someone else. Doh!

Hi Dave,

I would also be interested in one of these, but I suspect I'm too late. Thought I would register my interest just in case.

Thanks

Well, finaly took the plunge yesterday and installed the shifter.

I read somewhere of a bloke who claims he can now do it in 30 minutes. Well, it took me 6 hours  But then again i go very slowly since i'm not that experienced. I had some troubles to take the controlbox off. The otherwise perfect instructions say that i should have a look in the servicemanual.... So i went back home, fired up the computer, opened the manual.... only to discover that i have to remove 4 bolts (those where allready on the workbench)... I assumed that it was the seal that was a bit sticky, but was a bit afraid of using violence. It came off easily once i knew where to look  :-D (Dave, if you can ad a line in the instructions for blokes like me, it will save some people from my experiences :P )

After removing the old bits and replacing them with the new ones it became obvious how well of a job Dave did. There is not much room to work with and he found very creative solutions in modifying the transfer ratio (Hmmzz. is this correct English???) :smt023

Thanks for an educational day of work, i am very pleased with the results!
One happy shifter added in the Netherlands

Hi Dave,

I would also be interested in one of these, but I suspect I'm too late.
Only last week I discovered the short shifter by getting to ride a Elante where it was installed! What a difference!
My friend HJ2 is very pleased !!!

So let us know if you still want to make some!

Thanks
