You're welcome 8)

This means that the instructions will be more idiot-proof than they allready where.
However for some people this is no guarantee that you will not use oversized screws, resulting in another repair and spray job (see earlier in this thread :smt079 )

Dave

Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble of fitting my short shift. It took 2 hours to get home as I went the long way round all the twisty country roads and what a pleasure it was having to constantly to change gear. The short shift if amazing and totally transforms gear changing. I would highly recommend this modification to anyone. Can you thank your wife for the coffee and it was a pleasure to meet you. can you email the fitting instructions because if i ever sell my car i am going to remove the short shift to re fit on any new elan i get.

Cheers

Billy

Hi Dave,
My short shift kit arrived today. Thanks very much. I am looking forward to the improvement
which, with the other updates, will transform the car.

Hi Dave

The kit arrived yesterday thanks

Fitted it yesterday afternoon it took me about 3 hours with the very good instructions. I've only been for a short drive so far but very impressed with the improvement so thank you very much again.

Was looking through the instructions - is everything done from inside the car and under the hood? Or do you need to get underneath also?

Everything from the top, no need to go underneath
