Come on, Dave - read the bl00dy thread!

I'm pretty sure that in just the post above BFG in the BRG wrote:
The list for this batch is still open until the end of the month as detailed before.

Photo of fitting as requested by elanman. It uses the same holes as the map pocket, which stays in place.

Beautifully made quality product, rigidly constructed, extremely effective, looks great, brackets installed in well under 10 minutes, doesn't foul the operation of the hood.

Bad Points:
...the top bar of the deflector cuts across the bottom half of the rear mirror view. (However I suppose they had three choices - drop the top bar below the mirror view and reduce its effectiveness, raise the top bar above the mirror view and foul the hood or do it as they have done)
...
I'll be at Donington on the Saturday, so if anyone wants to have a look and sit in my car to see the effect on the view through the rear view mirror they are very welcome.

I'd be keen to have a look/sit in on Saturday to see the rear view. Thanks

Guys,

Do we know if 'Classic Additions' managed to get anyone's windblocker delivered, in time for Donington ?

Cheers,

Martin.

 Nope! Not as far as I am aware :censored:

I contacted them on Friday to see where they had got to - and they had just been put in the post.

I'm pretty jarred off at this - whilst I'm not going to Donny, I presume some were, and being as they said they had 5 in stock, all they had to do was put them in the post

I hope the windblockers will be worth it when they arrive - which will apparently now be during week commencing 19th April.

So...they're on their way......excellent :!:

Amongst the assembled Elans at Donington yesterday, there were quite a few variations on the windblocker theme. Some folks were using the 'Classis Additions' one, with others having modified similar 'mesh' types from other manufacturers. There was also at least one car there, that had roll hoops installed with perspex inserts between them :!:

I'm looking forward to seeing how much difference it makes :D

Once again....many thanks for organising the group buy ..... it's much appreciated

Cheers,

Martin.
