Extracted from the Telegraph...
"Brawn again emerged as the fastest team in the afternoon session, after world champion Hamilton was quickest in the morning, showing the benefit of a new diffuser, which had interim modifications before a completed new version is unveiled for later races."

Spent a good part of yesterday with Joss and Matt (Composite Guru) and they were confident for the race - they'll be unbearable today!
Well done Red Bull

Why not. Nice to get some reward for all the hard work they have put in, particularly in the run up to the start of the season.
Well done.

Fun race to watch - though I personally hate the Red Bull owner (the drink company, not the racing principal), he's an asshole. But it was great watching Vettel and Button trade off over and over again.

Did I hear right today that Aston Martin are considering entering next year or was that a different motor sport?

I would not be surprised if Bernie was in on this all along.
Having already been to Donington, Brands & Castle Combe, Silverstone blew me away last year. It would cost a fortune to get Donny even up to the same standard. If Silverstone could not afford the extautionate rates to keep the GP then how could Donny possibly manage?
Some circuits in other countries get huge subsidies from the government, so I still believe that this year's British GP may be the last for some time.

Great race - Barrichello can't catch a break it seems.

Yep, that was a great win for Button but why they put Barrichello on a 3 stopper was a strange one

Excellent start for Hammy and did well to finish 4th. Another good race by Vettel and Trulli.

It's like they're totally sacrificing Bar already, using him only for constructor points or something. He's a hell of a driver, overtaking quite a bit this last race

Time to petition for Lotus involvement again ? I know it's childish, but I wouldn't be able to stop smiling if Lotus returned to F1.
