It's just that most of us meet up fairly often, but you will be very welcome to join us.
We meet at a pub near the centre of Bishops Stortford around 7.30-8.00. I can't remember what the pub is called. I'm sure Spud will post the name of it here soon though.

Thanks very much!

I will try to make it, though it may be in the eurobox as still have some work to do to get through the MOT.

It failed on Nearside rear brake not comming up to pressure.

So it looks like a overhall of the rear brakes is in order.

Mildly bad news for me, but nothing serious.
I drove past Stortford today & discovered that the route I take has been re-surfaced. It's one of those poor quality jobs where they lay tar, dump loads of loose stones then bugger off, leaving them to settle ... & fly up, chipping paint & windows on every passing car for a month or so.
Fortunately it was not done too recently (& I was in the daily anyway :-) ). The Elan has enough stonechips already so will be staying at home on Tuesday too.

Poor excuse Choo Choo.

Spuds, do you have a large heavy box for me? Any chance of dropping it off at Birchanger pal, and picking me up? 8) (In exchange for a pint or two of course).

Soon I may have as many excuses as you do for not using the Elan.

To make it easier does anyone fancy going to The Queen Vic in Gt Dunmow? A better drive for Steve and Simon, certainly less of a drive for DaveT, Jean Claude won't mind goes he's poncing a lift anyway, and the parking is better. Just a thought.
