Real WD40? If so, you'll be re-doing that the day before Donny then. I hate the stuff because it seems to evaporate after 3 weeks. I prefer silicone lubricant or spray grease.

Yeah I figured that might be the case. Thanks for confirming it.
I'll have to get some silicone stuff. I was just feeling super efficient.

What did you use? I am thinking of using car polish as I've failed to find a polish for the wheels here.

It was a stuff called 'Wonder wheels', its supposed to protect the wheels from brake dust. Probably a bit gimicky really, I'm sure normal polish would do.

Give it a couple of years and you'll have the lowest mileage Elan in existence. :-D

Are you stirring because the Blue Beast is about the only Elan which gets used less that the Medina Queen?

Tax disc --- unlikely. Knowing Dico, he just means that he will start the engine, move the car onto the drive, wait for the fans to cut in then switch off 3 times, then put the car to bed for another few months.
If it ever gets driven properly again, the wastegate will be stuck solid.

Hoping to start the turbo upgrade in the summer (which summer I'm not entirely sure 8) ), and Bobs Hi-specs (all round) some other time.
I'll have to start fitting some parts soon as the shed, garage, greenhouse, garden and wardrobes are now full.
