I have a Federal Elan that has a broken power window cable on the drivers side. I am sure once I get into it, I will find alot more than the cable needs replaced. The motor sounds like it is working fine and the window seems to slide fine. I have been watching for window parts for quite a while and have not seen any for sale. My question is, are these parts available from GM, Lotus or am I just out of luck at present time?

If anyone in the USA has part it will be Dave Bean Engineering. I have bought all my window parts from them, including the main window mechanism.

You don't need to go to ANY specialist car parts supplier for this fix - a bike shop will do!
