I am getting my Elan from the garage today after around 8months. Woo hoo.

An update on progress;

The components for the hoops are manufactured, and fabrication of the assemblies is currently underway. Unfortunately I am now away on holiday until 26th July, but fitting/delivery will commence soon after that.

I'd definitely have been in for a set if I could find the money, but it's a lot right now. Any chance of coming back to this for another run next year Simon? I'd hate to put all this money and effort into getting the Elan sorted only to get decapitated...

Got the Elan back with hoops - top job and glad I didn't have to fit that myself!

Clears everything and puts me in a bit safer position during spirited driving.....now for a track day!
