Oulton Park Gold Cup 2009

Im trying to give you enough warning of the event

ITS 30TH AND 31ST AUGUST 2009 sunday and bank holiday monday

as per last/this year....I should be able to get free tickets for car and driver (face value usually about £40)
there is camping (usually about £20 for the weekend).....
so you can put it in your diaries for next year and we can have even more people down to this event and show the other car 'clubs' how it should be done...
Im also helping Oulton organise the event for the 'clubs' in 2009 so I'll try to get us some bonus'...like getting the parade laps back....
we had a showing of about 80 cars on the sunday but considerably less on the monday (about 30ish).....
400 each day would be good and they would be prepared to do the guiness book of records attempt if we can muster ourselves propperley

or just pop up for a 'day'

I live in Norwich, so it's 500 miles round trip - about £75 for fuel, plus food, plus camping - so over £100 for the weekend.

I'm already going to Yorkshire this weeekend (so another £100 round trip), and the camping trip around North Wales is the weekend before, which will be far in excess of 500 miles all round. I will probably spend the weekend of Oulton Park polishing the car instead

Probably nearer the £200 mark if you're in the bar with Gareth Those tequila slammers and flaming sambucca's don't come cheap !!

you know when youre in a credit crunch when you have to make your own vodka...

why not make some for the car????.....environmentaly friendly and you can transport more drink to the venue........if you dont put your foot down too hard that is
