Received mine a short time ago and for the money its great, not only does it work well when it rains , which it did, but also during the heat of summer as its silver reflective finish helps protect the interior from melting.

dunno if anyone is interested, and I know I am beginning to sound like a Classic Additions rep but.....I got one of these - and it came in really useful when going and the BRG - heaven forbid... had to spend the night under the stars.

Packs really small - about the sixe of an A4 sheet - and about inch and a half thick.

I've managed to get Classic Additions to drop the price to £28 inc VAT with £7 delivery - (they will deliver up to 10 to the same address for £7), or simply deliver to everyone individually at £7 each - hence the price of £35.
Their website offers them at £39 plus delivery I think

It's pretty good - obviously there is a risk of it being knicked overnight - guess it depends on where you park it - but it might save you getting a wet arse - or bird poo on the roof...or both

There are two elasticated straps, one goes underneath the front of the car and one which goes under the rear of the car. There are also two "ears" built into the cover which slip over wing mirrors made out of lycra-type material. Only issue I can see is that the elastic bits might get grubby over time since they touch the underside of the car in places - but I guess it can be cleaned.

It's made out of a thin plasticy material, and is lightweight and soft.

just seen your post,
bought one of these about a year ago fine to start of with but now lets the rain through
not trying to put anyone off because it stays on well during high winds if you tuck the front under the wipers.
I might try to re-waterproof mine.

I guess you pays your money and makes your choice - I only use mine very occasionally - usually the BFG stays in the Garage - my car is uninsured against theft if left out overnight on the driveway at home, and, being a second car, mainly goes out in the dry - I only tend to use the cover when I go on long overnight trips/touring - so only a few times per year - I figured get a cheapish one incase the cover gets nicked when left out overnight, also it folds down to the size of A4 so is easy to stow.

I guess if you want/need to use it regularly then you either expect to buy one of these periodically, or spend more on a better quality one - I'm sure there is a thread about this somewhere - might even be earlier in this one, have a feeling Will B was a source at one time - Classic Additions might do a better quality one also - personally I'm not sure I'd bother trying to re-proof, I'm not convinced the reproofing substance would stick/soak in very well - but then again I might be talking through my bottom .

car used all year an left out I'm afraid but lets sing the praises of Classic Additions. My cover is out of warranty date by 3 weeks so I e-mailed them asking for info on re-waterproofing the top and they said "as its not far out of warranty date to send it back and they will replace it brilliant what more could you ask for in a company I recommend them to all
