A great weekend was had by all.
Friday, the longest journey ive ever made to north wales approx 5 hours. Normally 1 1/2.
Was a great drive trhough nice scenary.
met up with Tony and Ben south of chester and proceeded to Conwy.
Had a nice strole around Conwy when we all finally made it into the same car park. Then we stocked up on some fine ales from one of my favourite shops.
After some stunning chips and gravy we headed onto the campsite, Tony leading the was as he knew a good route through.
All wsa going well till Shaun(aka boy racer) decided to go in chase of a really really high performance car... well a standard megane sport...
after a few miles we all caught up again, or so we thought.... along came a clio v6, once again Boy Racer Shaun went in pursuit
(again) just at this point Tony indicated for our exit, Shaun failled to notice and continued at warp speed, missing the turning. It must be noted that even the clio V6 came off with the rest of us.We all pulled into a laybye just of the dual carraigeway scratched our heads and came up with a plan. long story involving elans scouting the whole area.
AGAIN!!!We eventually came together and made it to camp pitched our tents and had our beer and food.
Saturday
Gave the cars a quick once over to make then sparkly for photos, and procced the evo triangle. some superb driving, with lots of photos, stunning backdrops of mountains and gleaming cars.
A quick scout of penryn castle which was breath taking.
Sunday
10 am was karting, this showed up the true boy racers amongst us... I was admittedly the slowest, with rip in 3rd then aguanbly Shaun and Graham for 1st as Shaun had the fastest lap but Graham would probably have had a better over all average.
We the went up to Caernarfon to the Black boy inn to watch the F1. The food and beer was fantastic even if we all were shattered due to the grueling track session.
Then it was onto Llandudno for a coule of games of Bowling, the first game Shaun came out on top with Graham and rips behind and me and Kim bumping up the bottom. the second game went reverse with myself taking a suprise victory.
lots of alcohol and Shauns super cider was consumed not letting the tropcial storm going on outside.

we negotiated some VERY narrow lanes and finally met up with Terry and Ben and then headed on to Conwy for some delicious chips by the seaside with the sun shining. Leaving Conwy with admiring glances from pedestrians along the way, we made our way to the campsite which is where I decided to make my own little detour
