Excellent - glad it all got sorted - I fitted a Dave Shortshift and it makes an amazing difference. Have a great time camping - shame you couldn't take the Elan

Just to let you know I'm still very happy with the WInd Deflector - makes the Elan siginificantly quieter and so much less windy - great Group Buy! Also I reckon I'm getting up to 2mpg more now than before fitting - I always have the top down (apart from the odd occasion when it's out in the rain) - so it's actually an investment :D
Regards

Mark/.

Well I've never heard that before 8) ,

glad you are still enjoying it - gives me a warm tummy feeling!

And another thing, I sent around £30 ish to LEC coffers which was all of the profit from the sale of the wind blockers and a couple of car covers - so everyone's happy :-D

Hi,

Is it still possible to get one of these at the group buy price?

My elan's been SORN'd since June but will hopefully get it back on the road early November and would like to have one of these fitted if possible.

Oh Oh, time for a list

Tell you what, we can either wait until say 5 names or end of the month whichever is the sooner, unless you want them sooner rather than later - although by the looks of it you are in no rush - let me know if you want anything different - getting it at the end of summer might seem a little crazy, however you might find you can drive topless for a few weeks more

I am amazed at the dfference it has made to driving, although you do rather miss the wind in the hair aspect.... The best bit I guess is that it is easy to remove as well. It should come with a storage bag....

Thanks for your help with getting this BFG. Works brilliantly - totally transformed the topless experience. Guess it will be better when I can actually fit it properly but at the moment it's attached by just one screw as that's all there was holding on the map pocket. Naturally my 13,000 mile mint S2 bought last month came with the usual missing bits! All part of the Lotus experience...

Morning, I am in no rush at all, just wondering when you thought they might be sent off? Just so I can let work know to expect a parcel. Cheers

Thanks for the update.
I used the elan to take the other half to see Blackpool lights last night and drove back with the roof down too.
The car got as many comments as the illuminations it seemed.
Was a bit breezy & chilly driving home so I'm looking forward to fitting the deflector asap.
