Monty,

as long as you make a full recovery, that is the most important thing. Plenty of other Lotii out there. 70 mph is quite a crash.

Keep smiling.

Just spotted this thread - I hope you're doing alright Monty and that you get things sorted out smoothly and quickly. Sounds like a very frightening and heart breaking experience.

Alan

A little late to this but really sorry to hear about this. Hope things go smoothly for you from here on. A 70 mph smash in any car is not good so to some out alive is an achievement in itself.

If I was you I would take the radio and anything else you can get your mits on - they don't pay you for those bits anyway.

You think Dico's pics will include the spinning?!

It could be, the whole front would have to be replaced Radiator, fans, intercooler. oil cooler maybe powersteering pump, bonet, Light pods, front bumper, spoiler the list goes on. I think that would cost to much and have trouble getting hold of those parts. I just hope they don`t. As the car would be worthless.

ouch...
i would have thought they would NOT even think of reparing that poor beasty..

strange lump on head? trying to work out how you would get that there?

would be worth a buy back at the right price for spares after all you have spent on it . as you say the back end is in tact...
