New dials / instrument cluster graphics

I am not a big fan of changing the dial colour, but my dials are starting to become transparent and very difficult to read at nightime. I have spokent to Lockwood and they will do a limited run of black dials like the originals if we can get enough interest.

If ten people put their name forward they will cost £40 each.
If twenty people say yes then the cost comes down to £30 each.

Prices are inc VAT at 15% (goes up in January) but we would need to add £5 P&P per delivery.

I am willing to go halves with anyone who just wants the instrument cluster set, as i only need the oil/volts/boost set. If others are in the same boat then let me know and i can ask for a price just for the sub dials.

Not wishing to through water on your fireworks.
The Metal Monkey dials Link are a much better fit and the quality is streets ahead of the Lockwood dials, plus you have a choice of colours with the Metal Monkey graphics even pink!
Spoil the ship for a ha'pworth of tar?
Added to that I think Phil mentioned the Lockwood dials do not fit the Elan that well.

OK the Metal Monkey dials ar more expensive but as you are going to all the effort of removing the dials and changing the graphics then I see little point in fitting cheapo graphics.
The trickiest job are the centre gauges as you have to pry off the face as they are sealed, I did this with the aid of a ring of aluminium that the gauge sat in and allowed the metal ring to be pried back reasonably easily and the same putting it back as it holds the ring so you reduce the chances of breaking the glass.
Of course I do not have a boost gauge on my Elan so Lockwood were not an option
