whats the function of these? i have a rattley loose window on my passenger side, just not been brave enough yet to strip the door...

When the window is up they lock into two plates on the door and act as up stops.
A rattley loose window is probably due to the failure of the brush seals on the inner/outer support pads.


I'll see if I can sort out the screws and the washer for these

When the window is up they lock into two plates on the door and act as up stops.
A rattley loose window is probably due to the failure of the brush seals on the inner/outer support pads.

Yeh, the plates that the bobbins fit into when the window is fully up are the primary means of adjusting window fit to the hood seal. They are only engaged when the window is fully up.
The screws are M5x 20mm, as I recall. Can even be bought in the USA! :) I think the washers are not actually necessary.
