Timmo,<br><br>thanks for the advice, explains why I couldn't find perspex thick enough. So its going to be an expensive Lexan job then.  The cost of Elan ownership   :'(<br><br>Alan,<br><br>if you find any stuff online maybe we could make up a job lot.  Have a wind stopper making party followed by cold ones with the other guys up here.

how about this<br>http://www.shopkit.com/pages/rod.html<br>open the 12mm rod system components list window to understand what i am getting at [smiley=crazed.gif]<br><br>here we go...sounds a bit like blue peter, so you will need<br>2 of R1-12 12mm rods(not sure what length, haven't measured it yet) to act as the uprights<br>4 of R15-12 to fix the 12mm upright rods to the bulkhead<br>4 of R6-12 these hold the perspex sheet to the rods<br>a sheet of perspex upto 6mm ish to act as the windbreak<br><br>hope someone understands what i am getting at.<br><br>have been thinking of trying this approach as have just used these fixings for my shower and they are good quality aluminium bits and look pretty (wait for it) funky.<br>the company was good to deal with and swapped a couple of bits with no fuss<br><br>you all think I've lost it now don't you.<br>cheers<br>d

all the little dooberies slide on and off and tighten up with an allen key.<br>

If you can all wait a little longer ie. after i finish my kitchen i will hopefully be releasing to the LEC site a retractable type wind stopper. with a aluminium hoop and a mesh panel. I first need to complete the building and testing, but hope fully i will be able to supply it as a diy kit. Should really finish it for Donny!! Price could be about £40.<br><br>Is there anyone interested.

Ok, i will try and convice the boss if i can spend an day in the shed to complete for donny. I have made the tube bending jigs and the telescopic bore cleaning tool. The hoop is made form 10mm brushed anodised aluminium. The mesh panel is 350mm wide and is fitted to a spring loaded roller. The hoop slides up and down in 2 tubes attached to the rear bulk head, these can be hidden under the carpet if you so desire.
