Could always put it back a week to the 26th ...... after the re-arranged work?

Been away for a while and just beeen looking into the site again and found this thread.

So - is there going to be a meet some where in the north essex-ish area in the near future ?

As I'm in the Colchester area might be a good idea to find a few elan owners to have a chat to.

Won't be the 12th Choo!

And we tend to meet Herts/Essex border Wryka, as attendees are from deeper Herts, Milton Keynes, Saddleworth Moor (FFS!), Saffron Walden, Chafford, Canvey - but sadly our founder from Ipswich doesn't have a tow bar on his Elan for a Portaloo.

Let's go for the 26th - can do Queen Vic at Dunmow or perhaps, as James might come down from Newmarket, maybe find one along from Monty's Bar/Castle Lotus at Stansted Village. Also a new one on Stansted end of Stortford (was the Red White and Blue pub) with plenty of parking (not eaten there yet though!).

As an aside (and I'll post up a new thread when confirmed) on Sunday 6th Feb LEF's AnglianEspritGroup are planning a 10.30am meet at Elveden Farm just south of Thetford - plenty of all Lotus types to drool over and photograph, meet some new and old faces too. Spot of lunch, perhaps a hoon through the forest.

Time for a list then:-

26th is good for me and Rip should have the suspension upgrade done by then as it is scheduled for next week.

2 Mancunians in Stortford would be mad, but it would be good if you can make it, Monty.
EE should have it's Nitrons fitted by then. :smt023 (Although you'll see bugger all by the time we all get there).

Sorry lads I think I'll give this a miss - 2 mad Mancs and a trainspotter!

Thank God for the Browns! :-D

If we do Stansted there is a big carpark behind Castle Lotus, guess I'll have to check for HGV restrictions on Saturday when I check on the latest ETA for the Evora.

Space for 1 in my Elan from wherever (Birchanger or behind Castle Lotus). I should be able to get there at about 6.30.
