looking forward to seeing your elan Dico!
Hopefuly the weather wil be a bit better next time so we can go for a 'tootle'

Was everybody happy with the meeting point?

Thanks for organising this. I think you might have set the standard. Decide on a venue, date and time and then stick with it.

It was a really enjoyable trip and great to meet up with some more Elan owners (and their passengers).

Pub food was fine. My home made cheeseburger and chips was great and went down a treat. :smt110

Count me in for a sunshine drenched "tootle". :-D

Again, the meeting point was ideal. However, I don't think we should rule out alternatives, if only to be fair to those who travelled a bit of a way today.

Roll on the spring and summer!

Was good to meet a few of you yesterday, even though we were 40 minutes late!
Nice to see another elan too.

Hopefully meet again soon.

Just got home and it was good to see you all again. It was a great turnout despite the weather!!

I'd just like to say a big Thank You to Nick and Kim for putting myself and Ian up for the weekend, I for one had a great time and look forward to our next get together.

Yes it was very good despite the weather.

Iain (Rip) deserves a special mention for travelling so far to his “local” meeting.

:smt044 You'll need lots of patience for that. The Blue Beast is more like a museum piece. It rarely goes anywhere!

I can't complain. Another half hour in any direction would have made bugger all difference to me.
Nice, big car park was a major plus. It gave that daft trucker a good chance to wheelspin his missus' beamer on the dirt too. :D I expect he got a :chair: for that later on!

It's now nearly six months since the last meet in February. :poke: If I may be so bold, is it time to be thinking about the next one? :-)

Say, September(ish) to hopefully give Nick time to sort his rear wishbones out?

September!? Never mind Nick, he can come in another vehicle surely?

The food and parking at the last place was spot on, but I also apreceiate I didn't have to travel far but others did.
Open to suggestions or stick with the same place maybe? Early August?

Roland, will you be attending Mikeydudes BBQ?

I was trying not to be too pushy, as well as avoiding holiday clashes.

Dico wrote:The food and parking at the last place was spot on.

Yes it was but your "doughnut" was terrible !

Dico wrote:Open to suggestions or stick with the same place maybe?

Either is fine by me.

Dico wrote:Early August?

If it's early August I won't be there I'm afraid. :(

Roland! mate...This years Norlog BBQ will be on the 15th of August. You are of course welcome to come along, this is a family event, so family also welcome.....or ...in the case of Norlog it seems to be...mistresess....concubines...etc etc.
as well!

Looks like the M100 attendance will be good in actual fact ...I think we had four or five last year including mine..made a change from the mass of Elises and exiges!

Thanks for that Mike. Unfortunately I'm unable to make that day, otherwise I'd have been there in a shot.

yeah sorry for not sorting anything. I think the same location would be good as theres quite a lot of good driving to be done around the area. If we aim for the end of Aug early Sept i could be back on the road anyway. But as Dico says id come up regardless. :D

It's gone very quiet in here !

Are we up for another meet? Same place as last time unless there are any other ideas.

Say one Sunday in September, 12th, 19th or 26th ? Meet up around lunch time, have a pub meal and then afterwards a bit of a run? :-)

The nights are drawing in now and autumn (i.e. fog/mist!!) will soon be here, so we need to be quick(ish). :?
