Window parts - no longer available

I am looking for the rollers that go into the white rectagular slides that go up and down for the windows. For some reason mine are missing. I bought the new slides from Dave Bean, but they do not have the rollers. Anyone can help?

I'm placing an order today so i will let you know if they are available. The problem is, as you can tell from the posts, Lotus changed the requirements for these windows numerous times, from three sliders to four, to three of one type and one of another, to 10 vertical sleeves to 10 horizontal rollers, to three rollers to four, and on and on. Look as though they were winging it way after the cars left the factory and it may be that we can experiment just as well as they can until we get the right mix (and from the fact that they continue to be a pain in the A** its obvious they never did!)

Thinking I may just make some from delrin, the ones in there were squshy, but I cant see why some graphite impregnated delrin would'nt make them slide like greased butter

Delrin may be a little hard, I think they are supposed to be flexible, if they are too ridged you could break the glass or snap the little beggars off.
I did think of some nylon or polyurethane tubing cut to length, I have my passengers window to fix at some point in the not too distant future, another little job I’ve putting it off.

Placed an order with Williams of Bristol for the window slider parts. The following is the result.

6 X A100B0699F - SLIDER BLOCK (not available)
2 X A100B1097F - SLIDER BLOCK (available so i have increased this to 8 as it appears to replace A100B0699F)
10 X A100B1089 - ROLLER, SLIDER BLOCK (will confirm availability end of the week)
2 X A100B6271S - BUTTERFLY CLIP (available)
2 X A100B6151H - CLIP, LOCKING BUTTON (available)
1 X A100B6211S - SLIDE (available)
1 X A100B6210S - SLIDE (available)

I bought some lengths of nylon rod of about the correct diameter with the intention of replacing the rollers - but decided to use the old ones in the end - one option might be to cut odd the correct length, and if still concerned about the hardness - drill a hole and then fill with sikaflex to make it squishey - might work - if you want a length of nylon rod let me know I can pop it in the post - donno if you can get nylon tubing.

Still no answer from my order, so i have sourced the thickwall fibre reinforced clear nylon plastic tubing and will experiment with different types of filler (sikaflex is probably the least flexible of the silicon family)

I've just called DBE. The rollers are out of stock, and possibly will be not available through them again.

Ok, just got the call and the 10 rollers (A100B1089K) are no longer available so we are on our own for those plus the A100B0699F - SLIDER BLOCKS, which are also unobtanium from Lotus. This does not bode well for the future of any window repairs as these, along with the motors themselves, are the main wear items. Time to get the A/C topped up and stop playing with the window switches when its hot (like today, fourth day in a row its over 32 celsius)

Ekapol was missing his rollers as well. We just used thick wall nylon tubing I believe in a 1/2" diameter. Can't remember the exact size at the mo'. Worked a treat thought and we just cut to lenght.

I have two windows in need of repair so very interested in this thread with regards to replacement parts. Doors will be getting stripped and rebuilt (hopefully) in time for Malvern........

I'm going to be tearing into Smaug's doors as well since one of my windows is permanently down at the moment. Bob, did anyone get you the dimensions you require? You're going to have a full-time job making M100 bits before too long!

In simple terms no, one of the problems with the rollers is they get squished and are usually out of shape so they may be difficult to get exact sizes but close enough will have to do.
