The Marlborough Arms is a good pub and where the campers are...
Men are like a fine wine.
They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the sh * t out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

Maybe Stef's getting confused with the Melbourne Arms.
Now why would that stick in our minds?

Maybe Stef's just confused John ?

Lets hope the Marlbank Inn or the Marlborough Arms don't have similar objet's d'art as per the Melbourne Arms ;-)

I have just booked me and Dee in at the moment and we're staying at the pub's B&B. I assumed that the happy campers would be doing same re the evening meal. If you want to eat at the Marlbank Inn then I would book yourselves in and say your part of the camping party and would want to be on the same table if poss. When I was booking they asked if the campers were going to be having dinner there on Saturday night and I said "probably".
Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?

Chris - I also told them the happy campers would probably be eating at the pub on the Sat night. No definite numbers yet in case there was an alternative being arranged but I'm certainly happy to have a meal, beers and then stagger back to the luxury tent ;-)

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

It's easy

Pick up phone
Dial 01684-310603
Table for 2 - Sat 17 April @ 20:00
Sorted ;-)

That wasn't too taxing was it ? The hard part will be getting them to post a picture of all the Elan's lined up on the campsite and post it on their updated website LOL
