It has been organised to start from 10am on Saturday 20th. The event is absolutely free and will be a great chance to see Lotus Silverstone and get some fun action in, and maybe win the personal track action. You do not need to be a member of the Lotus Drivers Club, simply anyone who is interested should come along! hope to see some of you there.

Update:
I have spoken with Lotus and we should be able to get an Evora along for ride and drives (on the road) as well. I have also booked my technicians for Saturday so that we can carry out a health check for £50 whilst people wait – if anyone is interested they just need to give myself or Mark a call to book it in, the number is 0844 372 8246.

Neither did I specks, but if you go back to the first post you'll see the link to what appears to be a new Lotus (+MB + Porker) dealer at Silverstone.

Sorry. Our Midlands organiser has been speaking to Silverstone Lotus and arranged a day out at their new dealership at Silverstone. This will include being able to take a look around and see what it's all about but also they are going to put on an auto test event out the front of their workshop/showroom. This will be done on a first come first served basis and the winner gets an hour of Personal Tuition. These events usually turn out to be a great chance to get together and also to have a little fun. We were told today that they should be able to supply an Evora for the day as well and if anyone would like to have a health check done (on their car) then it would also be a good opportunity to.

It's a free event that one of our area organisers has arranged.

Spot on Specky
As far as I am aware this is all that is planned so far but I can't see why if enough people turn out that they couldn't let us all have a go around their track. Not sure if anything else is planned to be on their track unless they are running their day packages which they offer. I've never been so will be a good first look and hopefully with trigger's new rear brakes, piper exhaust, pce and shortshift kit all installed :-D

Would be good if more from LEC come along, I find it difficult to get to all the events going on and seem to miss out on LEC meets.

I don't want to say who broke the gearbox on the Exige S, but it had to be one of us lot...

At least it was a quick time...
