If anyone would be interested in taking a trip to Scotland in late May, why not take a look at this and come along for the weekend or a long week. There are already a few of us from LEC making the trip and there are still some rooms on hold. Hope this isn't stepping on anyones toes but it's all about the community and this is expected to be a great event hosted by Jim Grant in Scotland.

no not a problem with any events posted i have looked at this one and wondered if this would be subscribed to i have been in touch with arch at the lodge near bramar and hope to organise a night stop over with a photo stop at balmoral just need to decide on two weekend dates and then see if the main players can make it. So will post dates before end of weekend so please confirm the lodge has 8 rooms with camping, even a barbie and a few drinks. so one night organised, well two if you include thursday meet at forth road bridges with local accomadation travel lodge or the like. about money i will find out deposits and then firm things up once numbers are know i do not want to make it too regimental or tie people in.
But this is loose plan
Thursday- meet pm north of forth road bridges stay local and give out routes and info to all curry at indian.
Friday- head north via dukes pass trossachs to shiel bridge stop over night
saturday- shiel -eilean donan castle- pass of the cattle-cross country to inverness stop over night
sunday- inverness-culloden-granton on spey-ballater-balmoral stop over nite
monday- balmoral-braemar-glen shee- bridges overnight-drive home
tuesday-drive home
its increased by two day but this is to allow people to get up here and drive round at an enjoyable speed and stop and sightsee as required.
