I have never liked the use of poly bushes in this type of application and there a number of issues that these bushes do not address.
With the original bush the rubber is bonded to the steel inner and outer and the rubber then flexes as the arm moves as it is supposed to do, hence you clamp the bush with the load on the arm which allows about the same amount of movement in both directions.
The poly bushes are not bonded so they can cause problems with stiction and binding resulting in excessive wear and finally failure.
I have seen these used buy others and have seen what can happen to them so I am not surprised they have failed, at the end of the day the aftermarket forces driving the use of these bushes is cost as they are in general a lower cost option than using rubber bushes.
The loads on these bushes are like this

so the loads they are expected to take are in just about all plains but the one that is most critical is the torsional load as the are torsion bushes.
The bushes for the lower wishbone are as close as one can get to the original, manufactured in the same way as the original with the rubber bonded to both the inner and outer steel part and using a rubber of the same shore hardness as the original.
IF someone can show me a good reason to use them then....................
