Is your alternator OK Sy ? There've been a no. of failures the last couple of years - mine included

Mark
My alternator was one of the upgraded ones and was only fitted <2000 miles ago. So I hope it's OK. If it is the alternator, I certainly won't be there as I ain't going under the car this week.
Something is draining the battery though as, even with a buggered alternator, I'd expect the thing to start with a brand new battery just put in...

Simon: You are going, come what may. As the song goes "There's room in my car for two". Let me know the condition of Stripey by Monday please. If it is misbehaving I shall call at your door, take you there and bring you back again. This might be my last time to meet all the LECs so let's go for it one way or another.

Graham, sorry if it messes you about but I forgot that we'll have both my Elan and Lisa's car there (PC Pinky et all would probably take a dim view of us putting Ben in the boot!) so we'll follow the taxi from the Bankhouse.

If Yasuo and Kim can't make it (flights still suspended), I'll take a seat if it helps out.

Actually, I might need two as Peter is now coming! :bonk: Otherwise it's back to plan 1 and I'll drive.

Firstly Yasuo/Kim, it was a shame you couldn't make it, but theres always another time!

Secondly, Geoff, you're a daft old tw@ !

The seat you wanted from Yasuo was from the Hotel, not the camp site where you pitched up and hopped on OUR bus!.........

......then you abandoned your poor lad in freezing conditions with just a sleeping bag and an i-pod for company, whilst you went off to your centrally heated luxurious B&B.......

....luckilly the rest of LEC pulled together to cover your bad parenting (now, has anyone got the number for Social Services???????)
