Do you know whether or not the showers are built yet?

No - but don't you have an allergy to hops and barley if taken in excess ?? ;-)

I'm up for this, but my only tent is buried at the bottom of a self storage locker in Canada. Does anyone have a spare tent I could borrow for the weekend? I'd be happy to provide some liquid payment for the favour.

Hi, I've got an old clunker of a tent you are welcome to borrow - I'll stick it in the car. The deal is; you might have to help me put my (larger) tent up ;)

I see my reputation proceeds me. I've actually been doing a PHd in liquid nutrition and it has all been done in the line of scientific research. My research is sponsored by the Scotch Whisky Association and Carrefour le Mans :drunk:  :gathering:

Hi Folks,
I've just come out of hibernation after the winter and am catching up on things like getting the Elan moving again!
Ex Gary's - Medina Green Garage Queen
Anyway can I join the camping crew please at Marlbank, Friday and Saturday nights?
One tent, One person only.

Question for Rambo & Scottish contingent - are you travelling down individually or in convoy on Friday?
I live in West of Lake District and could possibly meet up with you at M6 J34 or similar and swell the numbers any time on Friday .

regards JB

OK - final numbers for camping and list is now closed.

I have confirmed final numbers of 9 pitches (8 tents for both nights and Scott for Sat night only) with the Marlbank Inn today. Please ensure you bring a small tent and not your jumbo sized marquee :!: :!: ;-) ;-)

Hi Windyfarmer,

see the clan McElan thread for the scottish convoy. Unfortunately it's pretty pathetic this year but your welcome to join.
I'd reckon we'd be at j34 at approx 12.30 on Friday. PM me your mobile number if you want to meet up. I'm staying close to the campsite so we'll probably go there first.

cheers Arch

A good campsite and a relatively good attendance so early in the year. Shame about there being only 1 shower though - more planned for next year :!: ;-) Jim had the best idea - get up early and have a hot shower at the 3 Counties showground

I have to apologise to the campers though for that awful one man band called Duke on the Sat. night at the pub. He was pretty awful but he gave us all a good laugh. Thank you Graeme, Nico et al for encouraging him. Not !!

That "Hot Chocolate" rendition of "You sexy thing" was particularly bad. Did the original have the words "I believe in silicon, You chesty thing.........."

Good beers at the pub though and the food wasn't bad
