It's a great price too and in my opinion the best Lotus Event of last year!

"SELOC@Snetts10 Ticket price is £30 for a weekend ticket which includes:

Circuit entrance on Saturday and Sunday
Weekend camping – Friday and Saturday nights
BBQ on Saturday evening
Band on Saturday evening
Use of SELOC Marquee throughout the weekend
Children's activities including bouncy castles
No other camping is available for this event
Much much much more to follow... "

Just booked my ticket :-)

[quote="Dave Eds"]Just like any other race weekend at Snetterton then.

Apart from it's the lotus festival, not just "another race weekend"!

Paste from http://www.lotus-festival.com/event_info.html:

"Snetterton will be celebrating one of Britain's most iconic marques on Sunday 20 June when it hosts the Classic Team Lotus Festival, featuring superb demonstrations, displays and racing.
One of the highlights of the event will be a stunning gathering of Team Lotus F1 cars, including Jim Clark's 1965 Indianapolis-winning Lotus Ford 38 - which will only be appearing in the UK for a short while before returning to the Henry Ford collection in the USA.

There will also be a packed programme of Lotus racing, starring Lotus Cup Europe and Lotus on Track Elise Trophy. Other track action includes the GAZ Shocks Production BMW Championship, Heritage Grand Touring Car Challenge and the Mono Championship for single seaters.

Plus you can enjoy classic Lotus parades, display areas from several Lotus clubs, a huge exhibition area and a fantastic party atmosphere."

I can speak to Paul and see about parking allocation for the M100's. How about getting some info together on A4 sheets to stick on the windscreens? There were lots of people coming up to the cars and asking about them last year. We could even set up the LEC stand????

Elan or KA doesn't really matter. You'd still be welcome if you turned up on a skateboard.

Temp gauge would be a good start. IIRC KA's don't have one so if the stat gets stuck open, you don't know about it.

You also forgot the following:

S2/AB gear cables
Dorman rear calipers
CF rear light panel

At least roll hoops are bigger then they look! :-D

Bought a (proper) tent this weekend, starting to get excited. Doe anyone have specs and information of the Elan that I can print onto A4 sheets? I wasn to laminate them and stick to the windscreen for the other Lotus owners to read. Last year there was a lot of interest and questions about the M100's, so would be nice to have the info there for people to read when we aren't around to speak to them :-)

Not sure if my Elan will make this now. My starter appears to have failed so I can only leave it parked on a hill!

Rip,

If you're coming to Castle Combe, and can't get yourself sorted locally, let me know and I'll have a route through my spares pile ;-)

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?
