2012 Lotus Festival at Brands Hatch , 18th-19th August

I think Dunston Hall is about 20miles from Snetterton and I think there is a Travel Lodge 16miles away from Snetterton towards Norwich.

dunston hall would be about a 30 min drive from the east of snetterton just outside norwich. if your looking for something similar you could try park farm at hethersett 20 mins from snetterton on the a11, again to the east. nearest small town would be attleborough, 5 mins or thetford 10 mins. plenty of b&bs and small guest houses scattered around local villages. travel lodge has the usual facilities.

I speak to Paul and see if we can get an encloseure for our M100's again like last year, worth a try!

No I didn't Bob. Last year we had 20 confirmed M100's there with 30 or more turning up on the day, but there is a surprising lack of interest on here this year. Didn't think it was approriate to approach Paul with such a minority. (As you know because this is the Lotus Festival, there will be around two thousand Lotus there)

I just noticed that this clashes with Moto GP at my local track.

It's a great price too and in my opinion the best Lotus Event of last year!

are you sure this is the cost for the whole event and not just for the camping and entertainment because the small print on the msvr online booking form says that admission to the camp site must be in conjunction with a valid race day ticket.

The camp site is in the centre of the circuit Special area sectioned off for the SELOC group with 24 security, bands, BBQ on saturday night, boucy castle, etc for the kids,etc.

What are the facilities like, (her in doors will want to know)

Shower and Toilet Blocks, clean and well-lit, next to the camping area.

Do we all turn up on the Friday night, got to watch the football? do we bring our own beer or is there a bar?

There is a bar, but don't think it's open all night - bring beer, enjoy the atmosphere! Why go camping an sit inside a bar? Lol

Eats on friday?

Supermarket just down the road so can get food there - BBQ perhaps? ALso food served at the track restaurant (if it is open)
