:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

But I'll have the elan this year (hopefully!)

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

As an addendum to the above - I'll have to have a Lotus there, 'cos i booked a space on the track from that nice Anne-Marrie who told me that there may still be some odd spaces for 'special customers'....

.... ie, anyone who wants to pay the money

Seriously though, it is a LEC (BOLLECKS area) event which CL have attached themselves to, and if you want to come and watch, or have a go, just follow the right links and get booked in - it's always a great day out, and i won't be burning food on the BBQ 'cos i'll be burning rubber on the track :burnout: ......

If the old git gets up on time and remembers to bring some scotchloks and his beer-bottle specs, i might even have a gear shift LED light thingy to test

I missed it last year as I didnt know :( but realised something was up as I drove down to Poole and passed about 30 loti on the way!

I won't take Blacky on the track, she has been so well behaved off it and its the big race to Le mans classic 10days later - so I can't risk it. Driving to le mans in a mondeo would be just so depresing..and its depressing enough sitting in a mondeo at the best of times!

But I am coming!
Mike

If you are taking the BBQ I'll bring some sausages or whatever. Let's hope for good weather!

He wouldn't be the first mate to drive my car around Combe would he Phil?

That means there will be a few elans to hold up the field of others (unless it's raining, then we'll win!)

Who started this list and why isn't my name on it! It's my bloody thread, you list makers make me mad, your every where! Does this mean I can't come because my name is not on the list. Is there a list on every thread, is there a thread for making lists, a list making guide, a section in the wiki. That's it!
