Have fitted newly acquired light pods with Elise lights (one side only fitted so far). I had the same issues as others with the 5A fuse blowing so replaced them with 7.5A (there's one fuse for each side).
Not sure I've got the ideal configuration for stop/tail lights but I can work on that once both sides are fitted.

As a temporary measure, I sprayed them up with satin black and the effect is pretty good I think. Not sure if it will last so will get them sprayed properly when I have the front end done. I was thinking of having them done body colour but the black fits in well with the other trim.

I think that black creates a nice contrast with the body colour.
If you find that it shows the dirt/dust a little too easily, then how about dark grey/charcoal?
You could try photoshopping it?

Oh that looks good! I haven't had my pods sprayed yet, but I'm tempted to get them done black now - at least I wouldn't have to worry about getting an exact match on the paint!

I like the grey/anthracite with Calypso red.......

..... but the satin black goes well with the black 'eyebrows' over the lights and black detail on the number plate. I'll probably leave it like this. Next job is black wheels then!

I bought mine second-hand off another LEC member so not sure where they originated from. My guess is a small production run by another LEC member a few years ago. They won't be available off the shelf anywhere.

They were my original panels. I built them a few years back.

Any chance of making a few more? Seems to be a nice solution for someone that doesn't want to change the entire rear end.
Thanks.

Unfortunately not. Those were a one off deal because I disliked the OEM lights so much. No mould, dimensions, or tooling exists for them. Only thing I can tell you about them is that they're made from ABS plastic and that the took a long while to make.
