Sounds like the usual fish and chip run- 16 M100's in a row in 2008 was a good one. The Queens Head is only two doors away but the staff need a personality implant. CL Suffolk meet there once a month. Not been yet. Too busy. Too knackered.

That's an understatement. The return trip was awsome as several of us got separated & we seemed to take random routes to the same location, meeting more than once on the way!

Nice to hear from you, Dave.

Mpx & dapinky

As the owner of a NMY elan I find my eye drawn to all yellow cars. I don't believe anyone owns yellow by accident.

On that day I'm afraid I was in an anonymous Ford MPV.

A nice Mustard S2 at Steve Williams today, and a red SE waiting front wishbone work, briefly joined by my Pac Blue SE.

And on the M40 I overtook a black Evora (AU10AEO) and we exchanged cheery thumbs ups!

Well, I was talking with Martin today about the Yellow Elan he saw last night going home...

then.. tonight, 5:10pm on A625 heading into Sheffield a dark metallic blue SE!

Lady driver. I waved but either she didn't see me or her mother told her to never wave at fat, ugly blokes in sports cars as it only encourages them... :(

A British Racing Green S.E at Shenstone roundabout heading towards Lichfield an hour ago. Roof down, 'older boy' and partner enjoying the glorious sunshine we're having today.
I was heading towards Sutton Coldfield in my Pacific Blue S2 with my grandfather alongside (page 3 models were unavailable).

FYI- I've had my ELAN for two years and never driven past another whilst in my own; outside of a Lotus event.

Yesterday M4...... I think (next to a Three car pile up)

Aqua Blue S2, L100TVS

I took 10hrs to drive 300 miles and saw so many accidents I can't be sure on the M4.

Friday 18th June - about lunchtime.

Calypso red - i think it was a 'C' plate, but couldn't really tell.

Walliscote road, WSM - drove past the police station and i just caught it when looking out of the window - only looked 'cos it sounded like mine, and i thought someone had nicked it from the car park!!!

(it had the Wind deflecter thingy, but cant recall any other details - once i decided it wasn't mine, i had slightly less interest)
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

BRG A14 1/2 mile behind above calapso 1640
BRG A14 2 mile behind above BRG 1640ish

Could have been me on the way to GST in Newmarket but I would have said it was an hour later than that.
First time the car has been driven on a dry day with the hood up and someone spots me. Doh!
