3rd Elan required for 30/6 High School Prom

Postby Dave Eds » Sat 12.06.2010, 13:44

I need a kind sole to offer an Elan with chauffeur to make up a 3 Elan motorcade to deliver my youngest daughter and her 2 friends to their Prom at Quendon Hall on the 30th June.

Can't be doing the stretch limo thing!

Anyone local able to help?

Does the chauffeur have to be a kindly fish?

And if so, would a cod or plaice do, or must it be a sole?

More helpfully: Is it a drop off only, or are you expecting someone to do the late night pick up as well? What time/how long do you need?

Are you buying the curry afterwards?

Where from, and what time?
If nobody more local wants to I'd probably be available, so long as I'd have time to get over there from work.
I don't have a chauffeur's uniform though...!

Unfortunately, I'm already booked for my sons equivalent 'do' locally on the Friday, but if you get no-one else, then I'll come over on the Wednesday (but i would want a curry and somewhere to throw my sleeping bag!)

We can always make it a curry night as Pinky suggested! :D

Anyone who wants to stopover can too - especially Pinky if he's up this way!

Huge huge thanks to David and Iain for providing the 3rd and back up cars!

The girls had a great time and are really proud to have arrived at their prom in unique style. All the strettttttttch limos, hummmmmmers and picccck uppps in the world don't come close to a multi coloured convoy of Hethel's finest.

Also a very nice meal at the venue suggested by Bob. Amanda was pleased to meet you all, and especially glad that Caroline was there when the inevitable Turbotalk started! :-D

Well done guys - LEC once again coming up trumps.

Photos!!!!!!!

I wish my dad would have done something like that for my sister and I. We just got puttered around in a rallied up Audi 5000S. Can't look all that sexy hobbling out of a car like that though all the boys thought is was neat.

I think it's a great idea.

I borrowed my pals Aston Martin Vantage convertible to take Nicky's son to his prom last year.

His mates all booked limo's and hummers etc.

The Aston sounded much better and enjoyed borrowing it for the day lol.
