Anyone my neck of the woods going?

Thinking about aerial delivery....

An aerial drop of spares? That would certainly be a talking point.
Can't you just land on the way past?

Been reading the SELOC forum about camping. This year you turn RIGHT after going over the bridge which crossed the circuit (not left like last year).

Also, you will be asked for a "Quiet" or "Rowdy" section to camp.

WHat time are people turning up on Friday??

Being as though we were probably loudest on the campsite last year rowdy camping is probably best!!

Oh and I didn't think Nick could make it this year due to a combination of broken Elan and Band?

Last year the tickets were only for the Sunday and they moaned when those that were camping on Saturday night turned up early!!!

I'll probably be looking at getting there about 4-5PM tomorrow. They are meant to be showing the match at the campsite so that's easily sorted.

On the Snetterton web site it says that strictly no campers before 4pm
We want to get there soon after that so we can get sorted before the footie :-D

I leave work at 5.30, so should be there by 6.30.

FRIDAY FOOD - I am bringing a disposable BBQ and have a pack of 10 burgers, rolls and cheese - will gladly trade cooked burgers for beer :-)

I will private message all those coming my mobile number. Whoever gets there first get a space. They might not let you reserve a space so we can either take up as much room as possible and squeeze eachother in when we turn up. Or hold fire and set up tents together.

Based on last year's party, I recommend the "Quiet" area - we can always wander to where the noise is, in the knowledge that we'll get a quiet nights sleep while the others are up until 3am!

I'll be there at around lunchtime on Saturday.
My idle issue still exists & Newmarket is on my route to Snetterton. :D

Im afraid Mr G UK is correct, sadly i will be missing this year. Im totally gutted and very disapointed. Kims really busy with her exams to so it was just a no hoper this year.

We wont be doing this contest next year so as long as it remains the same time of year i will definatley be there next year with an elan or not.

Have fun people.

That's unfortunate, Nick.
I hope your contest & Kim's exams go well & look forward to seeing you both later in the year.

You wouldn't have been able to pinch my CF panel anyway because I've got a temp on there until Sunday

Sounds like a good plan, with ear plugs just in case

I might look up the nearest chippy for the Friday night, pie football and beer it doesn't get any better

Steve - The nearest village is Thetford (10 miles away, about 4 minutes along the A11!), several chippy's according to google CHIPPY SEARCHand also a supermarket to stock up on supplies.

Of course, you're welcome to a burger, I even have cheese slices! :-)

Nick/Kim, we will miss you :-( I'll make sure I film Iain when my homemade vodka kicks in!

Walk the track? After driving it last year, I'm not walking it! After drinking my vodka, neither will you! Lol
