Nardi removal?

Can anyone give me instruction on removing a Nardi steering wheel? Is it something I can do at home with a socket set for example?
I'm considering getting the 3 and 9 positions retrimmed with a section of magnolia to match the seats (as inspired by Holty).

It's a doddle if it's not stuck.

Take the horn out and there are a few screws also a big nut that you can remove with a socket set.

Mine was stuck so went to a local garage and used a bearing puller to take it off.

How do you get the horn out? Do you pull off the leather centre trim? It seems like it peels away but I didn't want to break anything.

Prise out the centre, it's just pushed into the leather. Remove the wires then loosen a few turns (but don't fully remove) the big nut. Pull the wheel off by grasping the sides and really tugging it, you may need to alternate pulling one side then the other, sort of rocking it. When it does come off the splines you'll be glad you didn't remove that nut, else you may loose your teeth! If this fails, you'll need a puller. There's a few tips on other threads, have search.
