Hi Jamie,

Either you can deliver them or i can collect. cash on collection/delivery I assume to avoid paypal fees :-D (I will dig out a pile of used bank notes, no sequential numbers)

Seems to work in the UK but not from overseas. It may trigger PayPal into looking into your account with that amount of similarly priced 'gifts' going through so you might want to make them all slightly different by a few pence.
Personally, I favour electronic transfer straight into a bank account.

Right Guys, the good news is they are all ready to go!

The bad news is myself and the family are about to go camping in the North West Highlands of Scotland tomorrow for about 5 days

No worries this gives you guys time to do your bit! :poke:

Right first things first, I will need all of you to p.m. me your name and address so the stuff can get sent to you !

Next thing, the money

Right I,ve thought long and hard about this and came to the conclusion since my bank account has already been cloned 3 times in the last year, and caused a great inconvenience to myself and my partner I'd rather keep my account details to myself. I'm sorry guys I hope this does not cause any inconvenience, I hope you understand my predicament.

Anyway that leaves two options:

Option 1: Paypal.
Option 2: Personal cheque.

With regards to paypal they only seem to hit my account to the tune of 3.4 % so I'm quite happy to absorb that just to keep things simple, so with that in mind paypal is probably better for me and it means your stuff gets sent as soon as I get back next week.

Personal Cheque is cool too but it will take a little longer to process

U.K. Guys
1 Pair of cam-bolts £11.47
2 Pair of cam-bolts £21.74

All correspondence to include your LEC user name so I know who's paid what e.g. message wth paypal or user name on rear of cheque

Canada guys and U.S.A Guys P.M's coming your way !

Regards Jamie

Many thanks - just sent payment via Paypal!

My Elan just scraped through the MOT with the wishbones last week. I have some galvanised wishbones, and just stumbled on the thread this evening.

Once again, LEC comes to the rescue...

It's nice to see people are making sure Jamie doesn't lose out on the PayPal charges ... I understand there's also a "gift option" where the fees are charged to the sender rather than the receiver.

Hi Jamie,

Paypal sent for an odd amount to confuse the clever computer which doesn't like lots of 'gifts' for the same amount!!!!

postal address also sent - no rush for these - take your time. If it's easier, package mine and Geoffs together - your call.
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?
