it seems most people are going for the break and not the le mans classic......
i keep an eye on this topic and havent got a clue whos going (only a couple) to the classic but know that all on the list are going for the 'break'.....
just a thought for 2012....
a get away from the olympics...

Thanks for that info, how do i get in touch with maison blanche to check camping availabilty or is there as much chance of finding rocking horse poo now! are you all going down together or making your own way there, reason i ask is that if i can get space , having not been there before it may make life easier.... as you say if i have no luck i,ll let you no appreciate your help ta

Well, I believe I'm all set to go for tomorrow, its my first time driving in France so I think I've got everything:

Passport
Driving License
V5 Logbook
Insurance Certificate
MOT certificate
GB Sticker
Fluorescent Vest (In Car)
Warning Triangle
Headlamps converted with the help of some black tape
Directions

One thing I've realised that I've forgotten is to get some Euro's so will have to do that on the way down tomorrow.

Have you got your crash paperwork should you have an accident, It has the english translation on so you know what they've stated and you've both signed?

You may need a few because they're normally carbon copies, worst case all french drivers have to carry one, bikes don't....

Oi Oi. Great time, good to meet you all. Big thanks to Iain and family for organising it. Loved the treasure hunt too. Made it back to the UK with no issues, oh, apart from the oil pressure gauge jumping from 5.5 to 8 bar for the last 20 minutes of the journey

knackered after the drive home - then a full day at work today - but all in all, well worth it.

Great week away - treasure hunt was excellent, even if we lost - who cares?

Only a pity that the orchard was so tight for the camping
