8) Sorry, but the blagger of the first St Marys show cannot be there tomorrow. Health and distance from here to there too great at the mo. I'll let Dave Eds fill you in with the details. Have a great day and a burger with a lager chaser for me.

Hi guys n gals, good to see you all today - great line up of M100's too. The show seemed to be bigger this year maybe helped by the fantastic weather. Before i knew it it was 4.15 and i had to start thinking about making my way home. Well after a 1.5 hour trip up it took 3 hours to get back, fekkin M25. Still it didn't spoil the day. Whats next then?

1. Dave Eds
2. chris.t (VX220)
3, ShaunM
4. rip
5. Lansledj
6. Steve A & Lady A
7.bobbrown & Caroline
8. nobby
9. misselan

So 1 x VX220 (super-charged) and 8 x Elans (3 x BRG, 2 x NMY, 2 x Pacific Blue, 1 Calypso Red) and from TLF 1 x Tesla, 1 x Excel and 5 x Esprits (with a Boxster support car no less!)

My thanks to Chris, Iain, Rob, Shaun, Toni, Bob, Caroline, David, Steve and Lesley. Also to Brian who has a Medina S2 somewhere and always comes to say hello, Dave and Megan Freeman (Black Esprit and Boxster), Chris (Internets) and Felix (in Chris's blue Esprit), Al (Tesla), Martyn (white Esprit), Petrolfeetdriven (blue Esprit, with son) and Stortford man John(white Esprit).

More dealer stands this year (sign of the economy or popularity of the show?), nice weather beer burgers and bacon rolls, plenty of cars of all types too.

Even bagged an M250 for 50p!

Wish everyone's journey home went as smooth as mine - no M25 traffic chaos (sorry Chris!), no escaping coolant (Shaun?), no sun burn (rip?), aching backs (Rob?).

What a brilliant weekend! Took the friday off and met up with rip and G uk on the A12 and continued (roof down in the sunshine) to Chapel for their 24th beer festival.

Excellent atmosphere (it's a railway museum) sitting drinking in railway carriages, trying not to trip over railway lines when you're drunk plus entertainement from women in red leotards pushing wheelbarrows round and singing (I don't think anyone knew why!) :?:

Graham had to leave on saturday :( but rip and I went for drive to wash the cars and watch the F1 Qualifying at his parents (thanks mum and dad!)

More supplies then back to the campsite for more beer (and cigars!), drunkenly cooking burgers at midnight was good fun (especially when I dropped the frying pan the oil went on the grass not me... )

Sunday we packed up early and set off to the Car Show at St. Mary's. Good drive in apart from one of my coolant pipes leaking, but it was fine after a wiggle and a topup of water.

The weather on Sunday was excellent, with a good turnout of a wide range of cars and had a few good chats with owners. Was great to catch up with everyone, long chat with Bob about brakes and Samco hoses (will be done before the end of the year), good to see Dave Eds, plus his shiny head and custard; Chris in his VX220 and also Mr and Mrs A in that shiny RED Elan. Shame DaveT couldn't make it (hope to see you soon mate). The icing on the (lemon drizzle) cake was catching up with Nobby and also Toni who turned up in her BRG with a shiny new number plate!

Was gutted it was Sunday and not Saturday, would have loved the weekend to continue, but had a trouble-free drive back home, as I hope everyone else did (apart from the traffic jams on the M25).

Looking forward to the next meet :D
