Parts were ordered 2am UK time on a Tuesday and arrived at my US office 11am East Coast time on the Wed. I even got them back through the airport security scanners and the car is now running again. Cost for the pair of coils was $100/£58 including delivery within US (split with ChrisP who also ordered a set). They could also have shipped to UK.

I just tried ordering two new coils from Jegs. The parts came to 2x$46 = $92 which seemed great until they added on $90 for shipping and another $12 for handling bringing the total cost to just under $200. What did I do different?

Just to let you all know that the 2 coils arrived today at 4pm and that the car was running again by 6pm.
The hardest part of it was messing about with the expansion tank and ensuring that the new leads weren't cross-connected (although the coils being labelled made that nearly imposible!)
Thanks for all the advice, hopefully I'll be able to help somebody else out soon and maybe even buy some of you a pint!!
Steve.
. Any hints about how to get to them (which tool to use etc?)

The main worry is dropping any of them because if you do they just seem to completely disappear. Er, apparently! Watch out for losing the plastic insulating washers too...
