Hello, it is RYO living in Japan. It is a wonderful design, and was peevish and I also did hardtop creation. It is the delivery start from October at last.

He made that -- I saw on some site pictures of the process.  Search the web for elan, japanese, hardtop and it will probably come up--oh yeah, if you search out the name of the Elan in Japan (forget the name but it was called something else in Japan--something like Vigaro or so) it will come up!! <br>It is his picture of the yellow Elan with black hardtop that JETRO uses for his Avtar  ::)  It's a Yellow Elan with Kia rear lights and now with hardtop.<br>For those of you who can't wait, you could YIM him . . . <br><br>Glad to see you here, RYO, we are interested in more information of your hardtop if able.<br>

Is it just me or do the rear lights look like they're  additional plastic pieces and not simply painted on?<br>

RYO,<br>I agree, the hard top looks great.<br>When youtold us in your introductory post on this thread that "it was peevish", did you mean 1) it was a difficult project, 2) that was the way you felt before you had a hard top (ie. when the rain was streaming in past the rag-top seals), or 3)the way you felt when you realised that the rain was still pissing in past those seals even after all your labours to fabricate a hard-top?<br>Whichever it was, please tell us whether your car now leaks. :

I am sorry. To be sure, translation was strange.  ???It is sure at the time of the original soft top that whose leak in the roof was uncanny. However, after making it a hardtop, by my car, it is hardly. ;D<br>

Hey Doug! How about supporting Japanese on LEC? If you can get it to show up, I can translate the Kanji parts (basically old style Chinese).  ;D
