Lotus Aftersales closed as of 4th JAN

Postby Specky » Mon 13.12.2010, 23:01

Where to start...

Several members have informed me that Lotus Aftersales have ceased their "Sale" in which ever guise it has occured over the years.

I have been in liaison with the head honch of Lotus Aftersales and they have confirmed this is sadly the case. :(

But I do have some good news, :-D

The Lotus aftersales department have now completed their move from Hethel and now re-side in a spanking new facility closer to Norwich.

And now the really good news:-

The LEC have a one time offer

If you would like something from the original "60th Sale" at the sale Price (+ VAT) please start a list below

http://www.lotus60thanniversary.com/forsale.php

Name, Pt No, description, Qty, Price.

If it's still available I will do my best to sort and also do the delivery.

There are a few provisos:-

Chances are the VAT will be 20% before the list is ratified, every one pays VAT no matter where you are in the world.

Full cash up front, no Paypal

There will be a delivery charge, because I will collect everything from the factory and post to UK addresses.

I'll close the list on the 4th Jan 2011

No dealers

So it's over to you...

I can't honestly anwser that question, but I believe so.

All I can say is...

If it's on the 60th list and it's still available you have as good a chance as any.

Anyone know why they charge more for the instrument harness for the hard-of-hearing? C100M0002F is listed twice. Once at 8.51, then again SHOUTING for 34.04.

There's a big list of aftersales stuff at

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=17324&hilit=aftersales

Apart from the seat recline bits and bobs it does not include aftersales items that 'fit' the Elan but which weren't Elan parts - for example the courtesy light delay module,

usefully it includes details of some of the items that have sold out, to which I would add the inner steering column (out!).
Just one more effing bucket and I'll explode!

Sadly all lists are now defunked and will not be honored. There are no Lotus after sales currently in operation. :(

The LEC has worked behind the secenes and has managed to arrange this one off offer, basically Lotus have met us halfway and given us one last chance :-D

I'm aware of the linked thread list and the other aftersales lists that aren't shown there.....cos I own most of it or it feels that way

So it's the "60th List" or full price.... and I tell you if it's still available... your call...

Simple-see

I see there are RH and LH drive shafts on the list (C100R0001F and 2F). I've seen these in the parts manual but I'm not good at understanding the subtleties. Are these literally just the metal rod between the joints or are they sub assemblies including the joints and gaiters?

Basically they are the full assembly, if you removed one from a car this would be what you would need as a replacement.
