It doesnt bother me he has gone.

He has done well getting us promoted but it's still the same rubbish football as it was last season.

It's not nice to watch,

He has had little in the way of money but in Tiote has brought in a very good player

He seems to be a very Honest and Genuine bloke, but not very dynamic.

We were very very poor against West Brom.

We have only won 2 home games. We didnt lose at home the season before.

We have only taken 2 from last 15 points.

Something needed to be done.

I can only think / hope Ashley is going to splash some cash in January and didnt want to give the money to Houghton.

Who knows what goes on a Newcastle :? :? :?

interesting as this was muted last time round. But wasn't it Cashley's mate who was seen to smirk at a text during Jol's last half a game in charge at Spurs. And wasn't Hughton Jol's assistant?

Couldn't do much better Geordie boys

He's got no hair and we don't care......... :D

Dave please delete a couple of my duplicated posts.

It's funny but it always seems to be Spurs fans on Newcastle forums. :? :?

They are so interested in our team while we don't give them a second thought..

Then again we probably have Spurs richest supporter as the owner of our club. :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

Lets face it he doesn't have a clue about football either..( Typical Spurs Fan)

Not quite as good as it was to be a Newcastle Fan just now :( :( :(

Yes Geoff it does..

I bet you any money whatever happened at Blackburn was not his fault ( It never is )

It will be another couple of million in the bank for an incompetent Bafoon!!

I'm certain Wriggleys will be hoping he gets another job soon, Alex Ferguson and Fat Sam are keeping them afloat..

Bet the Pinkster's glad they got a jammy point against manure, otherwise they'd have been in the bottom three as well.

One mans Jammy Point is another mans 'well deserved sharing of the honours', or even, 'we was robbed'

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
We are the Spurs Supporters and we love to watch them play
We go to all the home games and we go to those away
With us supporters following them we know they will do right
We loudly cheer when they appear, the lads in blue and white

We're very proud of our football ground it's known throughout the land
And while we wait for the game to start we listen to the band
And when we see the teams come out you should hear the roar
We know it won't be long before the Spurs they start to score

The ref his whistle proudly blows the linesmen wave their flags
The Duke is ready to kick off as he hitches up his bags
We cheer Sonny Walters as he toddles down the line
And the ball like magic is in the net and makes us all feel fine

There's Ronnie Burgess with his skill holding up the line
With Alf, Bill, Harry and Charlie way up there behind
And not forgetting good old Ted whose hands are sure and strong
And Eddie and the Leslies who are always up-a-long

And when the game is over, when the game is through
We cheer the winners off the field and the gallant losers too
The Cockerel proudly wags his tail he gave the Spurs their name
In honour of the Lillywhites who always play the game

Now come on all you supporters and join our merry band
No matter what your age is, we'll take you by the hand
We'll pin a cockerel on your chest, it shows the world that we
Are members of that loyal band, the S.S.C.!!!!

Never heard it all my years down there..........

but guessing it's to the tune of "My old man's a dustman".

Lyrics are so more carefully chosen than the modern chants
