Still awaiting the first ones, which at the beginning of the week were off getting painted, then they have to be built so may be I'll see them in the next few days.

I should have the first ones in my hand probably tomorrow as they are leaving Hi Spec today (NBFT).
Others are being made up and I need to supply the ammend list with the sizes and the names and adresses so that Hi Spec can send them direct.

The gold ones they still have to work out the colour match but that is in hand at the paint shop.

Should not be too long Ailwyn as they asked about a colour match a couple of weeks ago.

One final hurdle, do they fit OK which they should, and have they fixed them, well they should have done!

On a somewhat related note, I've contacted someone who makes hi temp caliper decals regarding making up some LOTUS ones for those who have calipers without the Hi Spec logo on them. Not sure if it warrants a group buy as it will be an ebay purchase and I doubt we will have a large number of people interested.

No idea - they're die cut, hi temp vinyl like most others. Don't expect them to last forever but they aren't expensive so you can buy a few spares.

Not sure how much they are from your man, but (IIRC) I paid about 6 quid for mine 4 years ago (6 decals), and they havent fallen off yet!

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

Ok you win.

Spoke to them and they said that they were supposed to be sent on Tuesday but they did not get sent till today so I'm not going to see them until Tuesday with the Bank holidays in between.
If I had known that yesterday I would have driven down and picked them up.

Calipers turned up today BUT.................

The ones I gave to them had the levers to fit our cables and the end parts I made to fit the cables but did not get returned with those parts.
Have asked for those back and with a bit of luck and may see those bits back Thursday.
As it stands
I have 4 black and 2 red.
The red ones are for Steve A and Router as theirs were in the group that got given back to Hi Spec.
Black for Mattdon, Avonvilla, and Ailwyn, I have ended up with Blair's as well as they just picked them off the list I gave them starting at the top and the list was in no particular order.

I need to have these fitted and tested to make sure they have fixed the problems and as Steve A is not that far away I will try to get his to him asap, the others will leave here as soon as I get the parts back from Hi Spec.
Avonvilla's will be sent straight away as he still has the calipers on the car so can swap the parts over.

I'll need to get the next ones in some sort of order starting with the people who's cars are off the road, due and MOT or are leaking but I would think that once these have been tested and proved to be OK then it should not take too long for Hi Spec to get them made and out the door.

Bob

BTW: Hi Spec have now added anti rattle springs for the pads similar to those that are fitted to the front calipers
