Good day today with glorious sunshine and aniversary cake from the brown's :D . Good to see everyone that turned up, shame about the wind and the prat who shut his keys in the boot not 5 minutes after having a discussion about doing self same thing  . Fortunately Dave break and enter Eds came to the rescue and saved the day. Lastly didn't know a 12 year old can sleep in an elan with the roof down at motorway speeds so well :) only woke up when we hit the twisty bits

Yep! But only of airplanes!

Well done to all of you who turned up even if we didn't all get to meet - so much else to see! For the record we were joined by a few Elises and a couple of Excels as well as the convoy cars. Nice to see Gazza and his good lady too, even though his Elan isn't quite ready yet.

Enjoyed the leisurely cruise up the M11 in the company of Elans, Esprits and the Tesla, especially when the two red Fiats decided to get out of our way!.

Also enjoyed showing the brother in law how some of the twisty roads around Barley and Barkway should be driven on the way back - no chance of him falling asleep :D

Me and the wife had a great day, only shame was the strong winds. Nice to see everyone including Paul who we managed to lose eventually. Paul you need to turn your phone on! Did you manage to get to see concorde? The Sabre taking off was very impressive. As was the cake provided by the Brown's but I doubt if Bob had anything to do with it lol.

Dave don't forget to let me know about the interior bit I want, passenger side.

Hope to see you all soon, maybe at the next local meet.

Nice way to spend a Sunday, with a drive on the back roads home, 20 mins to get there and over an hour to get home.
Big thank you to all those who turned up, those that didn't missed and excellent day at a very good venue with lots to see.

No pictures of cake and I did not have a hand in it's production but here's a couple of pictures
