Hi...

Got the email, but as explained in my reply, the N/A dizzy cap was not on my 'wish list'...

... Is it for someone else on here? If not just cancel the puppy.

Cheers

Could Bob Brown, Merv Smee and Phil Weston please get in touch with John (Brit-Car-Nut) asap. You are the last three to reply and I'd like to get the order into Lotus this week.

Heard from Merv, so now it is Bob Brown and Phil Weston.

I must have a reply stating you want the items as presented.
You both received invoices and subsequently modified invoices caused by Lotus running out of stock or changing prices.

Thank you to everyone who responded right away.

We hope to place the order early this week.

This Group Buy is just about finished.

Still waiting for a few payments to show up.

PLEASE send your payment to Geoff right away.

PayPal: donations@lotuselancentral.com

Make sure to send payment as a PERSONAL GIFT so there are no charges when it is received.

If you need to send a bank transfer, refer to the first invoice for the bank details.

As soon as all payments are received, the order goes to Lotus.

Thank you to everyone that waited for this to get completed.

I can finally tell you that the order was placed today and Lotus will pull the parts and then Specky and his crew will collect them and sort out each order.
Everyone will receive some indication as to the options for shipment.

Those in the UK have several events coming up where the parts will be brought to the event for collection.

Members in the US will also be told the cost to ship each order.

Orders that you want to be shipped will be required to have the shipping charges paid up front.

Big, bulky items going to the US can be added to my shipment that will be coming over in late July to mid August, once I have gotten everything organized.
Cost will come down to size of package and cost to ship it from NC to your location.
It is hard to calculate average costs because US shipping is zip code and weight/size based and I don't have any of that info.
BIG packages cost more regardless of the weight as you are paying for the equivalent weight value for the large box.

Once Dave and his crew get things more organized and have the physical parts available, they can let us know the size and weight of each package.

More shipping details will be available soon.

Just wanted to let you know that the order has been placed and parts will start appearing soon.

Having sorted out Barclaycard last night (no, my trying to spend nearly £5000 with Lotus on Mastercard is NOT an unusual transaction and certainly no reason for you to reject it without so much as a by-your-leave :smt013 ) Lotus were paid this morning and it's all over to Dave.

Many thanks to John for stepping into the breach and helping make this happen.

Well your stuff is ready for dispatch from those nice kind chaps at Lotus aftersales.

Image

I'll hopefully pop up late next week or the week after.

I would like you to start thinking about delivery.

So just as a reminder my quote from the very first post.

Specky wrote:There will be a delivery charge, because I will collect everything from the factory and post to UK addresses.

Don't all say Donington, because those seven boxes are not going to fit in an Elan... , but if that's your choice please feel free to ask as you may be the only one, or I can split the load up.

We do however have the LEC delivery system and I do cover quite a bit of the UK on my travels.

The area I cover is Swindon to Dover and Swindon to Hull, So as an Doncaster is on route, one of the stateside fellas is sorted.

So email me with your LEC user name and your desination for your parts,

or you can collect.

I beg to differ, Sir - and my first witness to the stand - "Call Mr Filler!"

...and that basically concludes the case for this totally fabricated story

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
