Also, BBQ, stove, kettle, sausages, burgers (inc 'meat free' for those odd ones (Phil!)), rolls, ketchup & sauce - if you want owt else, bring it yerself (but you're welcome to share the facilities)

Plus esentials like a chair, brolly and toolkit - crash hat and overalls, track pass.....

....is there anything anyone else is expecting to bring for them, or i've offered to provide but forgotten?.....

...i'll be leaving about 7 in the morning, and will check the thread before i set off, so it isn't too late to remind me of anything i've forgotten.

Shame the parking was a bit of a mess - sorry I didn't get to say "Hi" to many of you - we cleared off to a local pub at lunch time with some other friends who were there. Weather wasn't particularly friendly for the other halves. Did manage to get a charity ride with AndyS in the caterham which was good fun if a bit soggy

overall a good day with 4 sessions in the dry - which was really good - the session I took out Dave's daughter Lauren for a pax it was almost as if we had the track to ourselves until we lapped a backmarker in an Excel

Another session I lapped (twice) an elise! shock horror

Good to meet everyone and thanks to Dave (Dapinky) for the spare oil filler cap - which eventually fitted at the end of the day???

Just got home - good day out (despite the morning weather)

It did brighten up in the afternoon, and the only wet track session i had was the lunchtime parade lap!

I managed to spin off on my first session - no damage, just a bit of grass-cutting - at least i didn't spin off onto the grass on the parade lap, like the esprit.

(or even an un-named local bloke in a red S2 elan who only got there in time to do the parade laps)

I think Jon T's missus had a dodgy breakfast before they came out - she was looking a tad ill when they came off the track

An unfortunate clash of dates with the Mazda Cup being held over the weekend taking up most of the space in the paddock - no fault of CL, just an unfortunate set of circumstances meant that we didn't get a large enough space to all park together, but i think most of us got together at various times throughout the day.

I hope Nicks fingers aren't too rigid from grabbing at anything he could find whilst flitting between nervously laughing and grinning like a cat.


PS - does anyone have a genuine HG availlable, or can you confirm that SJ's are currently stocking them - i can't speak to Steve until Tuesday due to the BH w/e and now have something to do on my weeks holiday in June

A mad but enjoyable day.
Unusual circumstances meant that I had to leave my spotlessly clean Elan at home while Graham, Nick & I turned up at about 2pm in my Calibra!

The weather was poor until we got there & I was disappointed with the turnout but I enjoyed the day & after chatting to Graham & Nick, so did they.
