Planning to put the door windows back in tomorrow and wondered what type of grease to use on the sliders? what is coming out looks like a type of graphite grease? Can that be right?
Any help gratefully received.

The service manual states petroleum jelly better known as Vaseline, personally I'd use silicone grease as it is resistant to water or may be even silicone grease with PTFE.

+1 for silicone grease. I used the same stuff as for brake sliders and ignition boots. Worked a treat."Refitting is the reverse sequence to removal, but you swear in different places."
