Gutted for you both, hope you're felling better soon. I'll get those DVD's sorted and post over to you to cheer Ben up. I'll message you about the ticket.

Have also camped at Snetterton before. Was very cold wet and windy...

I'll be arriving probably around 7pm on Friday.

As an additional adventure, for those who maybe interested, the St George's English Whisky distillary is literally around the courner and worth a visit. Anyone up for it? I'll be going as I have a Royal Wedding special to collect. Not for drinking :poke:

See you all soon

Update about camping arrival on friday from Burt.
Dave, as early as possible would be good - then better chance of a good spot...after lunchtime i expect space to start becoming a bit of a premium!!

I'm not likely to be there much before 7pm so if anyone gets there earlier maybe they can get a block of spaces ?

Yeah, I'm sure there will be attempts by a few! It will hopefully be a good pension contribution in a few years. And I'll be bringing Abelour :-D There is still some left after last night's Birthday drinking session... :drunk: Ooops

Also, if anyone has entry ticket for Sunday, my friend Sue might be making it over. Probably in a Merc though which we will need to banish from view! Can any spare tickets be brought on the day so we can meet and give to any last min attendees?

Tickets can be purchased on the gate on the day although slightly more expensive at £13.00 (I think).

Weather forecast is not looking too bad.
East of England
Dry on Friday but perhaps cloudier later after some sunshine.
Cloudy with perhaps a little rain in places Saturday then dry and increasingly sunny for Sunday and becoming very warm.

Good thing with Snetterton is even with vast amounts of rain you do not end up in a muddy field as its on sandy soil

so it really is terminal then Dave, sorry to hear that. You shouldn't have mentioned "track day" in ear shot of the car. Try advertising on Seloc.

Talking of vast amount of rain, we've just had a thunderstorm and about a month's amount of rain in 30 minutes!

Maybe the grass might turn green instead of straw-yellow, and the tent pegs will go in the ground easier!
