Cars for the stand

Postby Specky » Mon 04.07.2011, 19:26

It's now that time to seek "the show cars" for this years Club Lotus event.

First of all the Nitty Gritty.

The volunteers car must be parked up on the stand with in the exhibition hall by Friday by 16:00

The car will not be able to move till Sunday at the end of the show.

You should receive an exhibitors pass prior to the event which will cover the whole weekend....gratis.

We are looking for three cars.

Colour, type, modiforcations and condition are not important, mine was on the stand a few years ago and that's a daily.

So feel free to show off your pride and joy, and may be your car as well

TIA

TTFN
If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... The N/A-Team.

Blipi has been on stand before so wouldn't want to steal another's glory. Besides, I'm not likely to get there early enough Friday anyway.

Well worth considering for kudos and general pride 8)

I would consider it an Honour to put my car on the stand (not that I think it's up to the standard required)
but due to my shift pattern I'll be arriving late Friday and going home saturday.

Well it would solve my gripe about leaving it outside the campsite!
I should be able to snap everyone arriving at the circuit in convoy too?

That is if you want an Elan with sevel mods, a few stonechips & a purple interior? :poke:

Absolutely with that new camera of yours! :-D

You can have mine on the stand too if you want:
S2, unmodified (apart from THAT numberplate, replacement Samco Hoses and a new water circ pump).......but on the proviso that no-one opens/closes the boot (don't ask)

If so, Iain, I'll be joining you at the side of the road :-)

If you want to show how tatty an elan can look, but still go well - I've got just the one you need!

Lots of 'sensible' mods, great mechanically, but laquer peel all over the place.

(if you don't want it, i'll just carry on using it all weekend - and happy to provide a passenger seat to someone who wants to be in the convoy, but has their car on the stand)
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

I'm doubtful for the curry now too.

You are, and so is Shaun if his offer still stands.

We need one other - rip has rescinded his offer and all the others seem to be conditional on one thing or another

You don't need to book tickets as Nige has the exhibitors ones.
