I think the numbers were down due to the holiday season..

It was a shame that it was expensive - £14IIRC - merely for a look at cars on the track. Might have encouraged more people to come if there was more to see.

I did spend a good lunch break at the air museum - just down the road - £2 to get in plus another £1.50 for a guided tour of the inside of a Vulcan. Cheap as chips!

We tried for a photo-call there one year as they had an Argosy called Elan. Nice thing is though Dave, the Vulcan ain't going no place!

Ha! I had a tour inside a pregnant plane (you know what i mean) It was free, but only because somebody left the door open. I had a tour on my own,then the pilot returned and kicked me out! All i remember is that there was a pile of beer crates in the plane! (must be Brits)

More like, what happened to the stand...
...it fell on G's car, scratching the paint work

And a child decided to peel off the top of the rubber seal off the top of my door, so some Sikaflex to do. Not bothered though, it needed doing anyway as the rubber had perished.
