Matt I appologize for the delay. Chaos doesn't begin to describe what's been going on here. I took next week off in the hopes of wrapping up some more of these asuming the weather holds out a bit longer.
ClffyG, please PM me. Delivered well over a month ago and no response.

Looks fantastic, Marie...
You are not going to find any complaints here- I know that this isn't your primary occupation and what you charge certainly doesn't reflect the time and effort you put into each creation. Due to the season, I have my Elan in the garage for the winter now anyway! I am sure we will talk soon- and hope you are managing to keep dry out there!
I love the update- that looks very pretty...

Finally getting bits done. Work has really been getting in the way. Not to mention there really wasn't a "summer" in San Francisco. Foggy and drippy almost every day. Can't do any glasswork in that weather. At the rate I'm going it may be a bit before I do another run. I want to get the bits in my shop done. Not entirely sure what I'm to do with the one for EPA lover as it's for his Kia light conversion but his car has moved on. Still waiting on Cliffy G for the last payment. I'll just see what happens.

Hey Marie, my car's still around by golly and I still want the vlanece. And I've got the money to prove it

So not to worry. Although, if you can make one change (eliminate the license plate well/depression and make it completely flat) that'd be great. Otherwise, I'll take it with the plate well.

I just saw this.
Looks great! The one part with original I don't like is the rear lamps.
Any idea when you will make more?
I'm very interested.

sometimes I really dislike staying in San Fransisco. The weather all summer has been foggy to drippy and now the rain has come again. only was able to get Matt's Valance done and shipped. still have a little ways to go on the other ones but they're pretty close. its just frustrating to me. After I finally get the last ones done from this run I'll post them up. the custom center one should be the next one done with any luck. When all is said and done I'm going to take a brief hiatus from glasswork to finish up on the Healey project. once that's done I'll be making a couple more valance in the standard glassfibre. As a list of required items to finish the valance the end user will need to purchase the following
2 lotus Elise/Esprit inner federal round tail lights
2 Louts Elise/Esprit outer tail lights (federal or ROW)
1 lotus nose badge
Wiring is pretty easy, but should you desire to have me do it you can send the wiring bits off to me in the post and I'll make it all up for you. I will just need to know which lights were purchased.

I'll definitely want one if you will make another.
I've done a fair amount of glasswork, so an unfinished one would be just fine.

What's required of us valanceers in terms of wiring? I'm anything but an electrical whiz... I can muddle through with some instruction tho

Firstly I need to know which lights you have. Fed or ROW. This has a great impact on wiring as the resistance needs to be right to ensure the dash blinker works.
Side note, I'm looking into getting new plate lights made up to similar dimensions but out of lexan instaed of clear casting resin as it will hold up better to abuse. More to come on that as it progresses

Hi marie, any word on my "special" valence? I'm not in a huge rush as I suspect I wouldn't be in a position to start integrating it until the fall anyway. Just thought I'd check in though. Thanks!
