Why don't you put him in the boot so when you leave you keys in the boot AND your solenoid breaks, you can still get in?

Added bonus is the peace and quiet.

Sorry mini-me.

Had a great time, another good turnout to a Lotus event and a good relaxing end to a great weekend.

Thanks to Dave Eds for organising, the weather was great and a red nose to prove it (due to the sun, not all the beer drank on friday and saturday  )

The show seemed bigger this year, with the arena and more commercial presence adding to the glamour of the day. Our Elans looked a tired and tatty compared to the shiny garage queens there, but at least we didn't spend the entire day polishing them (or firing up those V8's to make as much noise as possible!)

Hope everyone had a safe drive home, the sun shined on the journey back to Norwich. Huge grin when passing the Lotus Factory Sign just as the car turned 106k miles :burnout:

Shame you missed it

Hey Dave,

If you fancy a drive to Norfolk, there's a Car Show at Brundall this Saturday http://www.thelotusforums.com/forums/to ... ll-anyone/

"Address is Brundall Primary School, Braydeston Avenue, Brundall, Norfolk NR13 5JX
Arrive before 11.00 fete opens 12.00-4.00"

Shame you didn't make it, would have cheered me up after being totally unimpressed by not being able to outdrag a Seat Cupra and complaining about it to Graham all day....but I've just found out why.

2.0 TSI
Cupra R 1984 cc 16v DOHC
Fuel Stratified Injection 195 kW (265 PS; 261 bhp)
@ 6,000 rpm 350 N·m (258 ft·lbf)
@ 2,500–5,000 rpm CDLA 2009–
present

I had another nice day out with old and new friends. I managed to get to the M25 slip road before it started raining! I definately need to get a new CD for Larry now though.
